• Robinsons Handyman was first established as a company in July 1994 and began operating with the opening of its first branch - Robinsons Handyman Home Improvement Center - in Robinsons Galleria.
• Handyman introduced to the public the convenience of hardware shopping malls - a concept that is now known more popularly as DIY (Do-It-Yourself). In 2002, Handyman became a member of the Do It Best Corp. - the 3rd biggest DIY cooperative in the U.S. This paved the way for the Handyman Do It Best Home Center concept, and later on in 2004, the Handyman Do It Center contractors' destination.
• Handyman is a member of the Robinsons Retail Group.

• With the introduction of more merchandise and customer services, the DIY is evolving into a Repair-Maintenance-Improvement (RMI) store.
• Today, Handyman has the largest network of RMI stores in the country, with 46 branches located in all Robinsons malls, all Waltermart shopping centers, and other key commercial landmarks in the provinces.

• Handyman Do It Best Home Center carries over 15,000 different kinds of items for hardware, gardening, and automotive merchandise.
• There are 14 branches in Metro Manila, 18 in Luzon , and 8 in the Visayas-Mindanao regions.

• Handyman Do It Center is a warehouse-type, high ceiling contractors' center.
• Handyman Do It Centers (DICs) stock up to 20,000 different items in building materials, lumber, paints, and other hardware & home improvement merchandise. There are 2 branches in Metro Manila , 1 in Luzon ,and 1 in Mindanao .
• Exclusive to the DIC format is the woodshop, a made-to-order furniture service that provides free design & estimate according to customer's specifications and budget.
• All DIC's and several Handyman Do It Best Home Center branches offer expert paint mixing services.
